Police Officer

You're the reason criminals sweat. Track a robber across the city, box them in with backup, and cuff them at the last second. There's no scripted police AI here. The crook is a person, and so are you.

How you earn

  • Arrests pay. Right-click a wanted player with the Stick: a ticket at 1–3★, an arrest at 4–5★. Rewards are $25,000 at 4★ and $35,000 at 5★, plus bonuses for stopping a robbery. Tickets earn you money too.
  • Patrols. Take paid routes with /patrol and collect $5,000 on arrival.
  • A daily salary that grows with rank, from $500 as a Cadet up to $15,000 as Chief. Rank comes from arrests and tickets (/policerank).
  • Plant confiscation. Right-click a drug plant to seize it and collect $5,000 per plant.
  • Police even get their own vehicle shop: /phorseshop.

What can go wrong

  • The illegal-kill fine. Killing someone who hasn't attacked you costs $10,000, and the fine grows each time.
  • The rules of the badge. Cops can't fish, can't do holdups and can't buy drugs.
  • An arrest can break. The cuff takes about 3 s (4 s at 5★) and breaks if you're hit or drift out of range. The suspect's friends can save them by hitting you.

Pro tips

  • Arrest at 4–5★. That's where the big rewards are.
  • Wait until the suspect stops moving before you go for the cuff.
  • Bring a partner to guard you while you hold it.
  • GPS and backup in every chase: /gpstrack <player>, then /backup.
